YARD TALES is hosted and produced by Luz Fleming. Born in the high desert of Southern Colorado and raised in the streets of New York City and San Francisco, Luz’s extensive experience in voiceover, music, sound design, and broadcasting lends the highest level of production value to his work.

YARD TALES was born from Luz’s own experiences in the train and bus yard, and quickly grew into a larger conversation about forbidden space. Some of these stories feature border crossings, life altering events, the need to express one’s self at all costs, and that moment in life when a decision has to be made and a line has to be crossed. Unless Luz is telling his own Yard Tale, he hosts this show almost entirely non-narrated, letting the subjects tell their own stories first person. Each episode is cinematically scored with music, sound design, and SFX. Featured subjects include Scott Harding, Lupe Maravilla, Garth Mullins, Claw Money, and many more. Everyone has a Yard Tale to tell, and we are here to share some of our favorites.
